Strategy of card counting

Hi-Lo:
Real count: divide your running count value by number of decks. If running count is from 2 to 6 = add + 1, 7, 8, 9 will give you 0 when cards from 10 to King subtract -1

Strategy of K-O
From 2 to 7 = add +1; 7,8,9 shall give 0; when cards from 10 to Ace subtract -1

Hi-Opt strategy 1:
When cards from 3 to 6 = add +1; 2,7,8,9 and Ace shall give 0; when cards from 10 to King subtract -1

Hi-Opt Strategy 2:
2,3,6,7 shall give +1; 4 and 5 add +2; 8 and 9 don’t give anything; from 10 to King subtract -2 Aces are counting separately regardless of main count.

Strategy tips

  • Player is advised to stand if he has got 17+
  • Player is advised to stand on soft 19-20
  • Player is advised to hit if dealer has got 7+
  • Player is advised to hit if he has got 8-
  • When dealer has got 4,5 or 6 player is advised to double if he has soft 13-18
  • If dealer didn’t receive any Ace player is advised to double up with 11
  • If dealer has got 9- player is advised to double up with 10
  • If dealer has got 6- player is advised to double up with 9
  • If dealer has got 6- player is advised to split 22 and 33
  • Player is advised to split AA and 88
  • Player should avoid splitting TT and 55
  • Player should avoid taking insurance
